Thumbelina, Right Part of the Triptych, 2012

This artwork is inspired by Hans Christian Anderson's novel "Thumbelina" and was made in 2012.

I love this novel and was brought up watching cartoons and films based on Thumbelina.

I traveled once to South-East Asia and I imagined if Thumbelina was written for example in Thailand by a local writer, how would it look like. And so, I painted this unconventional triptych Thumbelina.
