My reinterpretation of the biblical character Delilah and her “issue” with the Israeli hero Samson.
Reinterpretation based on popular culture and retro-modern style using images of everyday people from the mid-20th century using a hand-cut stencil for the main images and psychedelic background, made using manual painting techniques; very gestural free-hand painting style.
Spray paint stencil and acrylic paint on stretched canvas mounted on a wooden frame.
60 x 80 cm unframed.
