Izabela Apananska is a multi-disciplinary artist working in diverse mediums and materials ranging from painting and video, to sculpture and site-specific installations. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (Ph.D.) The two-time laureate of scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland (2015, 2020). Apananska is the author of eight individual exhibitions and took part in about forty group art shows. The leitmotif of her works is the widely understood problem of memory.
