Self-taught artist based in the Shropshire town of Brdgnorth, where I have always nurtured a great love and understanding towards the fine arts, spending many hours documenting and challenging myself, studying and creating numerous textures and techniques.
I would like to think of myself as not just an artist but a storyteller, producing sensitive, bold and powerful images, making strong narrative statements, creating feeling and thought, hopefully connecting with the viewer in some shape or form.
Although realism plays an important part in my work, I love to take the viewer on a journey, whether it be a simple mix of abstract, texture or some form of obscurity.
For me its those methods that make that moment so much more exciting and addictive to the viewer.
By continuing on this journey I would hopefully love the opportunity to pass my knowledge and enthusiasm through workshops maybe in the future.
