This one-of-a-kind acrylic painting by Irina Fedorova depicts a colorful a pink lotus grows out of dirty mud, stretches up through the water and blooms on the surface of the water as a beautiful flower. The golden rays of the rising sun appear over the horizon and illuminate the birth of the lotus.

I used mother-of-pearl paints in blue, green and pink shades to create a shimmering background. The circles symbolize water drops in the rays of the rising sun. The golden leaf creates an additional effect of the presence of the sun in this painting.
The painting measures 16 inches high and 16 inches wide and has no frame. It comes with a certificate of authenticity and is signed by the artist herself.
