About Natalia Shchipakina

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

About this Artwork

Luxembourg also known as Luxembourg City is the capital city of Luxembourg and the country's most populous commune. Standing at the confluence of the Alzette and Pétrusse rivers in southern Luxembourg, the city lies at the heart of Western Europe, situated 213 km by road from Brussels, 372 km from Paris, and 209 km from Cologne. The city contains Luxembourg Castle, established by the Franks in the Early Middle Ages, around which a settlement developed. Despite the city's small size, it has several notable museums. Luxembourg was the first city to be named European Capital of Culture twice. Luxembourg City is also famed for its wide selection of restaurants and cuisines, including four Michelin starred establishments. Canvas on a stretcher. Oil. Signed. Varnished. Original artwork.
