Mairon Almeida is an artist based in Brazil whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy, England, the United States, France, Japan, Ireland and Russia. He describes his works as symbolising dreams, childhood and innocence. When creating his vibrant compositions, Mairon listens to his unconscious mind. Through his art, he invites reflection, happiness and the evocation of positive memories. Without getting stuck in any specific style, it freely navigates through all areas! But he puts down roots in a “Naïf” style! His works are mostly in private collections. However, he has collaborated with major magazines and publishers by opening chapters, front and back covers, stamping his art. His works can also be found on objects and utensils, although his art is not an empty commercial style. However, he pleases the eyes and therefore prints on objects such as clothes, mugs and other common, everyday things. His art is made for everyone without distinction and that makes him happy, especially when he sees the smile on the face of those who appreciate his work and travel in its symbols and its vivid colours!
