Artlimes is operated by Artlimes Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales. Artlimes provides an online marketplace where buyers can discover and purchase original artworks, editions, prints, design objects, jewellery and other approved creative works from independent sellers, galleries, artists and selected partners.
When these Terms refer to Artlimes, we, us or our, they refer to Artlimes Ltd. and the services we provide through Artlimes.com and our related websites, tools, checkout, accounts, dashboards, emails and support channels.
By creating an account, listing work, subscribing to a seller plan, placing an order, accepting checkout terms, using the platform or continuing to browse Artlimes, you agree to these Terms and any policies linked from them.
If you use Artlimes on behalf of a company, gallery, studio or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Artlimes acts as a marketplace and technology platform. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, authenticity, availability, pricing, condition and dispatch of the items they list, except where an item is expressly fulfilled by Artlimes or an Artlimes-appointed production partner.
We may review listings, moderate content, verify sellers, process payments, provide buyer and seller support, facilitate returns, manage promotions and remove items or accounts where needed to protect the platform, our users or the integrity of the marketplace.
You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity on your account and must keep your login details secure.
Sellers may be required to complete identity, business, tax, banking, address or document checks before listing, receiving payouts or continuing to sell. Verification may be handled by Artlimes, Stripe or other trusted providers. We may pause payouts, listings or account access while verification, compliance or fraud checks are pending.
Sellers must only list items they have the right to sell, describe them truthfully, upload accurate images, disclose materials, dimensions, edition information, condition, framing, shipping terms and return terms, and keep availability and pricing current.
Sellers are responsible for packaging, dispatch, tracking, insurance where appropriate, responding to support requests and complying with consumer, tax, customs, sanctions, intellectual property and cultural goods laws that apply to their sales.
Artlimes may require additional information, hide or remove listings, cancel orders, reverse payouts, refund buyers or suspend seller privileges where a listing, seller action or fulfilment issue creates legal, financial, safety, authenticity or customer-experience risk.
Sellers warrant that listed works are authentic, lawfully owned or authorised for sale, and do not infringe copyright, moral rights, trade marks, privacy rights, resale restrictions, cultural property rules or any third-party rights.
By uploading images, text, videos, certificates, shop content or other material, sellers grant Artlimes a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, crop, resize, cache, promote, index, translate and otherwise use that material to operate, market and improve Artlimes.
Sellers retain ownership of their original intellectual property unless expressly agreed otherwise. Granting Artlimes permission to create Editions by Artlimes does not transfer copyright ownership to Artlimes.
Editions by Artlimes are print, canvas, framed or other edition products made available from eligible seller artworks or photographs. Sellers must own or control the necessary reproduction rights before enabling editions.
Editions may be limited editions, open editions or other configured edition types. Where an edition has a stated total, Artlimes may track edition numbers and sold quantities. Sellers cannot reset sold edition numbers or misrepresent edition limits after sales begin.
Edition sizes, materials, frame options, image quality and availability may depend on the uploaded file, supplier capabilities, product configuration and destination. We may reject, resize, crop, colour-manage or decline production where the artwork file or order cannot be produced to an acceptable standard.
Unless a product page states otherwise, Editions by Artlimes are produced only after an order is placed, may be fulfilled by Artlimes or trusted production partners, and may include a Certificate of Authenticity or verification of sale generated by Artlimes.
Small differences in colour, texture, sizing, finish, framing, glass, acrylic, paper, canvas, margins or presentation can occur because screens, materials and production processes vary. These differences are not faults where the item remains materially consistent with the product description.
Frames, mounts, glass, acrylic, packaging, certificates and related options may be offered by Artlimes or by selected fulfilment partners. Availability, production times, pricing and specifications may vary by location, artwork size, supplier and stock.
For Artlimes-managed editions, frames or supplier-fulfilled items, Artlimes may choose the fulfilment route, supplier, packaging and shipping service. We may substitute equivalent materials or suppliers where needed to complete an order without materially reducing quality.
Prices may include or exclude taxes, duties, customs charges, delivery costs or platform fees depending on the item, destination, seller status and checkout flow. Buyers are responsible for any taxes, duties, import charges or local fees not collected at checkout.
Artlimes may support multiple currencies and may use exchange rates, rounding and payment-provider calculations. Displayed prices, totals and payout values may differ slightly because of conversion, rounding, tax, discount or provider fees.
Artlimes may run discounts, campaigns, coupons, subscriptions, seller offers, free-shipping promotions or other incentives. We may fund, share or pass through promotion costs according to the campaign terms and seller settings. Promotions may be changed, paused or withdrawn where there is error, abuse, stock issue or commercial need.
Sellers are responsible for shipping originals and seller-fulfilled items using suitable packaging, accurate customs information and trackable services where appropriate. Buyers must provide complete delivery details and cooperate with customs, courier and delivery requirements.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Delays may happen because of production, seller availability, courier issues, customs, public holidays, location, weather, strikes, force majeure or payment and compliance checks.
Risk in an item usually passes to the buyer on delivery. Ownership transfers according to applicable law and only after Artlimes or the seller receives cleared payment, subject to refunds, chargebacks, cancellations or fraud reversals.
Return rights depend on the item, seller terms, buyer location and applicable consumer law. Buyers should review the product page, seller return policy and checkout information before ordering.
Made-to-order, customised, personalised, framed, edition, perishable, time-sensitive or sealed items may be non-cancellable or non-returnable once production, framing or fulfilment has started, except where required by law or where the item is faulty, damaged, not as described or incorrectly supplied.
Where a return is accepted, the buyer must follow Artlimes support instructions and return the item safely, promptly and in the condition required. Refunds may exclude shipping, customs, duties, payment charges, return costs or loss in value where permitted by law.
Sellers may pay commissions, payment-processing fees, subscription fees, dispute fees, currency-conversion costs, production costs, framing costs, shipping costs, tax amounts, promotion contributions or other charges shown in the seller dashboard, checkout, plan information or applicable campaign terms.
Payouts are made to the seller payment account after successful payment, fulfilment checks, fraud checks, refund windows, dispute handling, identity verification and any other risk or compliance review. Artlimes may hold, offset, reverse or deduct amounts connected to refunds, chargebacks, disputes, fees, penalties, fraud, tax, negative balances or breach of these Terms.
Subscription features, pricing, limits and benefits may change. If a seller cancels, downgrades or fails to pay for a subscription, Artlimes may restrict plan features, listing visibility, promotions, analytics, support or other seller tools.
Users must not upload unlawful, misleading, abusive, obscene, infringing, discriminatory, fraudulent, harmful or malicious content. We may moderate, remove or edit content that breaches these Terms or harms the marketplace.
By using Artlimes, you agree that we may contact you about your account, orders, subscriptions, listings, legal notices, verification, support, security and service updates. Marketing communications can be managed through the unsubscribe or account options where available.
You must not misuse Artlimes, bypass checkout, avoid fees, manipulate prices, misrepresent identity, copy listings without permission, scrape the platform, interfere with security, introduce malware, abuse promotions, evade sanctions, sell prohibited items, launder money, commit fraud or attempt to move marketplace transactions outside Artlimes after discovering a buyer or seller through Artlimes.
We may investigate suspected abuse and share information with payment providers, fulfilment partners, law enforcement, regulators or affected users where appropriate.
We aim to keep Artlimes reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be updated, suspended, removed or replaced. We may change search, caching, indexing, seller tools, pricing tools, edition settings, checkout, shipping, subscriptions or fulfilment integrations as the platform develops.
We are not responsible for losses caused by downtime, third-party services, payment providers, couriers, suppliers, internet failures, browser issues, cached pages, account misuse or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Artlimes is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, punitive or business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, data or reputation. Our total liability for a transaction is limited to the amount paid to Artlimes for that transaction, unless the law requires otherwise.
We process personal data according to our Privacy Policy. This includes data needed to operate accounts, payments, checkout, identity verification, fraud prevention, legal compliance, analytics, support, marketing preferences and marketplace safety.
Payment, identity, fulfilment, analytics and communication providers may process data as independent controllers or processors according to their own terms and our agreements with them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer laws in your country provide otherwise. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact Artlimes support so we can try to resolve the issue quickly and fairly.
We may update these Terms when our services, legal requirements, seller tools, edition fulfilment, payment flows or business processes change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the update date.
If a change is material, we may provide additional notice by email, dashboard message, checkout notice or another reasonable method. Continuing to use Artlimes after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
