I work in oils on canvas, linen and wood panel. Atmosphere and light play a special role in the endless inspirations that surround me either in my landscapes, Seascapes or Still life subjects. These can be instantly recognisable or an expression of the feelings I get when painting the image before me or how I imagine them to be. I have received awards and special commendations and I have exhibited and sold work both in the UK and internationally to many collectors.

About this Artwork

An evocative semi abstract seascape with a small couple gazing into the distance, inspired by a hazy, slightly cloudy on the coast here in Andalucía. Look closely for the romantic couple on the rocks, where the tide has turned back exposing the sea bed and rocks.

Painted in oils on a deep sided canvas, where the sides have been painted to match. There is some considerable texturing but combined with smooth brushwork

to add overall interest and depth to the piece. With a palette of warm light and dark greys with some pink, brown and added white. 61 X 82 X 4 CM (24 X 32 X 1.5 INCHES ).

The painting is signed on the back with Elizabeth's logo on the side. The painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is signed, dated, numbered and ready to hang.
