I catch myself waiting for winter just to look at the incredible muted palette it has to offer. Watching the intense autumn colours fading to pastels is a pleasure to my eye. Landscapes are so monochromatic, colour transitions are so smooth. And yet water-surface hues pop up to underline the quietness and to remind that living Nature is preparing its miracle called Spring.

This original oil painting is made on stretched cotton canvas. Size is 70 x 50 cm. Depth: 1 cm. The canvas is gallery-wrapped and painted on the sides, so the painting could be hung as it is without a frame if preferred.
