About this artwork

I was born and still live in the famous Valley of Roses. Being raised under the iconic symbol of the rose, I pretty much believe that I have rose oil running in my veins. It is true that I just adore the rose blooms. I love the month of June when my town is bathed in roses and their charming scent. I have 17 rose bushes in my own garden - Gorgeous majestic creatures! I see them as living, breathing and feeling beings.

I dedicate to them a series of paintings expressing the feelings each rose bloom colour evokes and symbolises.

This original oil painting is on stretched cotton canvas. Size: 74 x 86 cm. Depth: 2 cm. The canvas is gallery-wrapped and painted on the sides, so the painting could be hung as it is without a frame if preferred. The painting will be sent safely packed within 4 working days of purchase. A certificate of authenticity will be enclosed.
