White Hopes, 2024

This painting is about hope. We all hope for something better, for something greater, for a better chance, for a better life, for more love, for the right person to have by our side, to be understood in the right way, to be loved unconditionally. These are white hopes. And I have chosen to express them by the abundant blooming of a white rose bush. I find in a rose's blossom a reflection of all my feelings.

This original oil painting is done on stretched cotton canvas. Size 50 x 50 cm. Depth 2 cm. The sides of the painting are painted, so it is ready to hang without a frame if preferred.
