About Eric Pottier
Eric Pottier, a sculptor born in 1966, was fascinated from an early age by conceptual art (Yves Klein, Marcel Duchamp) and surrealism (René Magritte).
His first masterpieces were influenced by industrial materials. To him, cement was necessary as a material because it was everywhere, every day. By softening it up and constraining it, he managed to make it express the antithesis of what it represented. For example, his artwork "Les Cimentiques interprétation" (The Cementic interpretations).
