A monochrome tonal study from my wonderful photoshoot with Poppy Haskell - a successful model. Here I have tried to capture her in an atypical pose and to get the real 'her'.

The painting uses an extreme tonal range to capture her form, pose and emotion in a subtle way. I have left a lot to the viewer's imagination for their own interpretation.
