Escape to the Big Blue Sea is a large, blue, under the sea oil painting with three fish swimming in formation. The fish are angelfish, and they travel across a wide blue expanse of the ocean beneath the turquoise rippling surface of the water which catches the light in small white sparkles.
Underneath them, you can see the light patterns on the rainbow coloured sand and in the distance a hint of coral reef. The idea behind this particular painting was prompted by the Coronavirus lockdown, which has left most of the world feeling a bit trapped.
The three fish are freshwater fish and so have no business being in an ocean. However, one of the things I most like about painting is that you can alter reality as much as you want to. I have set them free as I hope we will be soon.
Dedicated to everyone.
White edges, deep edge canvas, ready to hang and no frame needed.
