The So-Called Magic Square, 2011

Impressive originality! Linking a visual creation with a deeper encrypted message and meaning... The words SATOR, AREPO, TENET, OPERA, ROTAS form the so-called magical square, whereby the word tenet creates a cross whose four ends end in a tau. The content is interpreted as follows: "The Transporter Coil keeps its wheels carefully." This is a symbolic expression found in Pompeii before 79 AD, read horizontally and vertically, and is one of its most remarkable cross symbols for Christians of the first three Christian centuries.
