About this artwork

“Dark the Night” is an ethereal abstract seascape oil painting 61 cm x 76 cm (24 x 30 inches) on 4 cm (1.5-inch) deep canvas.

Inspired by looking at the sea at night when the moonlight shines light on the waves in stripes.

The title is from "Dark the Night" by Sandy Denny.

It's painted in shades of grey, with black and white and a hint of blue. The surface of the painting has a satin sheen and the painting continues around the sides of the canvas.

It is signed on the back, ready to hang, and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity
