About Lynne Godina-Orme - Abstract Artist

I am an artist who loves blending and merging colours, allowing the free-forming expression that comes from creation.

Abstracts are so personal; I ask the viewer to go into the piece and explore.

About this artwork

This piece literally nearly ended up on the bonfire! I painted over it three times and thought I couldn't create what was in my head... so I was going to throw it on the fire. Luckily my husband encouraged me to keep going. On the fourth try it came together. I am so proud of this abstract, pushing me so far out of my comfort zone that it was frustrating. It spoke to me... and I finally listened.
