In this painting, I sought to capture a soul's untouched purity. My brushstrokes in acrylic breathe life into the canvas, encapsulating realism with a symbolic touch. The subject's eyes are a mirror to an untainted spirit, silently conveying messages untold. Emanating a tranquil yet profound energy, it's a piece destined to resonate and add a layer of depth to any space it inhabits.
This painting is one of my large-scale portrait works, done with acrylics on a stretched canvas with jute fabric.
In these expressive close-up portraits, my intent is to get beyond the regular facial features, catching clear psychological emotion. Hopes, dreams, pain, disappointment and such — all of them too-human emotional conditions — are among the themes I'm working on. The combination of the roughness of the jute fabric and fine art painting gives more depth and a physical feeling to the work.
The painting measures 80 x 100 x 2.3 cm and is lacquered with protective varnish.
