VIOLA, 2023

Stefano Mazzolini's "VIOLA" presents an abstract and dynamic composition, dominated by a palette of greys, blacks, and whites, enriched with accents of red-brown and gold. On the left, a gestural form reminiscent of a hand or arm emerges with textured brushstrokes and drippings. Straight, bold black lines traverse the canvas, delineating profiles and structures, while broad drips of dark colour create depth and movement. Acrylic on canvas is expertly used for a vibrant, layered effect.
