About Vita Schagen

I love to visualise the images in my mind and then translate them onto the canvas.

The saying 'Live every day as if it were your last' deeply resonates with me, and I strive to express that value of life as an amazing gift, and to make every day count in my work by creating beauty — not only for myself but also for others.

Artwork

About this artwork

Floral Queen.
In this painting, I wished to capture the ephemeral beauty of nature entwined with human grace. Through thick, impressionistic strokes of oil paint, I brought to life a woman crowned with a swirl of blooming flowers and leaves, symbolising the ever-changing yet enduring spirit of nature. Her gaze is both a challenge and an invitation to find beauty in the fleeting moments. This artwork embodies resilience and regeneration, adding a soulful energy to any space it graces.
- Original oil painting on canvas board;
- 21 x 29.5 cm; 8 x 12 inches (8.27 x 11.69);
► Signed on the back by the artist.
► The painting is sold UNFRAMED.
► A high-quality varnish protects the colours for an extended time, guards against changes in room temperature and ensures durability

Prints

For our prints we use Enhanced Matte Art (EMA) 200gsm, natural white paper. A premium quality heavyweight fine art print material with a smooth, clean finish. This museum-quality paper is extremely consistent and works perfectly with large, full colour graphics or illustrations. The matte finish emphasises different highlights and tones in the source artworks; helping to create stunning works of art with the detail and vibrancy they deserve.

Frames

Our frames are created from high-quality wood, milled with simple clean lines and presented with a satin finish. This frame has a square profile measuring 20mm (front face) by 23mm (depth from wall). Available in black, white and brown.
