Burning Blades, 2024

Strangely, I find most of my inspiration in grass, mostly because of its constantly changing colours and the way it moves in the wind. I see each grass blade as a dancer; I feel them alive, having their own feelings, hopes, their own stories. This particular painting captures a late-summer grass field coloured in rust, so wise, so passionate, so beautifully floating towards the hills.

This original oil painting is on stretched cotton canvas. Size: 40 x 40 cm. Depth: 1 cm. The canvas is gallery-wrapped and painted on the sides, so the painting can be hung as is without a frame if preferred.
