Pasquas 13+20, 2020

The work was done in just 2 working days. I started painting it on the morning of April 12th of Easter, the day after Easter Monday 13th I realized that the face of the silhouette, without my knowledge, represented the face of Christ, exactly the same as the image of the Holy Shroud, without me is able to create and modify the image, considering that the whole work was made with a single 5 cm wide brush, the face of Christ is 15 cm high, 8 cm wide, not even wanting I could have created a pictorial detail with it precise, swollen eye, aquiline nose, swollen lips, beard of a sleeping person, person perfectly identical to the face of Christ of the Holy Shroud, and this is why I entitled Easter S 13 + 20. S, represents the Holy Shroud, the sum of the day and year form 33 years, the same age as Christ, which is why I am extremely fond of this work, it is invaluable
