About Mista Fig
My artwork is mainly figurative, offering an interpretation of life’s characters, with a social comment.
Through the years I have enjoyed exploring a wide variety of materials, from clay to plaster, mosaicing, found objects, rapid prototyping and life-casting, plus carving centuries-old bog oak (fossilised wood).
Focusing on a theme, I may spend a few years completing every series.
Each sculpture is produced by hand, is individual and an edition of one.
