About Natalia Shchipakina

1Exhibition

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques, oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by famous artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan and Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

About this artwork

The main task of this work is to convey the mood and atmosphere of the place. The south coast, warm wind, the sound of the sea and palm trees. A sky bathed in moonlight and the purple reflection of the setting sun. Oil on canvas on a panel. Signed. Varnished.
