As children, we were all afraid of the dark and believed that our toys could protect us. We endowed our toys with soul and character, willpower and travelled with them in our dreams and dreams.

The painting depicts a knight guarding a child in a dream.

This is a work which echoes the works of Tim Burton, Edward Gorey, Benjamin Lacombe.

The work was done on canvas, size 70 x 70 centimetres.
