The Shapeshifter is a semi-abstract bluebell wood painting with a tiny roe deer appearing in a distant sunlit clearing. It is 36 x 36 x 1.5 inches. This painting was inspired by an April bluebell wood walk in Sussex. It was a late afternoon and the sun was casting dappled light through the trees and into the abundance of bluebells and greenery under them. I saw a small roe deer in a clearing to my right delicately stepping through the long grass of a small bright green meadow. Unusually, she did not spot me so I stayed still and watched her. It is called The Shapeshifter as I could almost believe she was a fairy in disguise. Painted on deep edge canvas, blue-green edges, ready to hang and comes with certificate of authenticity.
