Born in Gloucester, UK.

I suspect, like most figurative artists, I find drawing and painting the human form wholly embedded in human behaviour.

About this artwork

Welsh poppies seeded themselves in our garden, making a wonderful breakfast show. The dark backdrop elevated the floral gold and yellow variations as they seek the warmth of the sun. A colourful gesture of late spring and a fine incentive to make a painting of the scene.
