About Nicholas Robertson

1Award11Exhibitions

Born in Gloucester, UK.

I suspect, like most figurative artists, I find drawing and painting the human form wholly embedded in human behaviour.

Artwork

About this artwork

The subject is ambiguously erotic and painted in traditional oil paint on a stretched canvas. The work has been finished with protective varnish; this not only protects the painting but has a unifying effect. The work only needs framing to make it ready to hang, or it can be hung frameless because it's painted around the edges.
