Born in Gloucester, UK.

I suspect, like most figurative artists, I find drawing and painting the human form wholly embedded in human behaviour.

About this artwork

If you have played any team sport, you will have encountered 'The Coach', and if it's a male, he always seems to look like this. I wanted to display the expanse of a training field and the isolation a coach must sometimes feel. The painting is on a Studland board and should be framed under glass, as this method of working is best left unvarnished.
