On The Horizon

This is a completely unique and original abstract oil painting on canvas. This painting incorporates techniques and an aesthetic I have been working to perfect over the years. The colors are vibrant and alive and the texture on the edges is highly tactile and almost edible. This piece is an exercise in simplicity and harmony of color. The colors streak and mix on the canvas and appear to almost be racing past your vision, creating a blur of magnificent color left behind. Heavy texture exists on the edges of the piece as well as a beautiful and subtle light blue "horizon" line in the center of the painting that is accented and separates the color scheme into different and unique segments. It is truly an original oil painting like no other.

Note: This painting is painted on canvas and does not come framed. However, the sides of the piece are painted and with the texture on the edges of the piece, framing is not recommended but up to the preference of the collector.
