Artist

Rinalds Vanadziņš (1986) is an award-winning urban painter and graffiti artist whose creative roots are deeply connected to hip-hop culture.

He has explored the graffiti and urban art scene before gradually focusing on visual art and painting.

Artwork

This painting is about how streets on rainy nights have so many colours and so much brightness and look so beautiful.

Rinalds created this artwork after visiting the Swiss city of Basel.

The painting shows one of Basel's city-centre streets as the artist sees it from a different view: brighter, more surrealistic and more fantastic.
