About Hirotaka Suzuki

Perhaps I am painting the cruelty of contemporary life because it is in opposition to my naïve outlook.

In contrast to the physical features of my paintings, I think I am visualising my feeling of anxiety in contemporary life.

About this artwork

Though there might be lots of opinions about Bonnie and Clyde, this mass-murderous pair had become a legend. I've tried to digest these mythological lovers that time and the media had built up. I think I could find a bit of truth amid massive gossip. I think (or at least hope) it was love.
