In this acrylic painting, I've explored the depth of human emotions through a striking, realistic portrayal of a contemplative face, splashed with intense blue hues that symbolize both tranquillity and inner turmoil. This nuanced juxtaposition invites the viewer to reflect on their own personal struggles and moments of self-discovery. Hanging this artwork in your home would add a layer of emotional depth and artistic allure, prompting introspection and conversation.
This painting is one of my portrait works. It is painted with acrylics on 2 mm-thick cardboard. The painting is sold with the frame.
In these expressive close-up portraits, my intent is to get beyond the regular facial features, catching clear psychological emotion. Hopes, dreams, pain, disappointment and such, all of them too human emotional conditions, are among the themes I'm working on.
The painting measures 50 x 70 cm and is lacquered with protective varnish.
