Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

About this Artwork

The painting depicts Púbol in Catalonia, home to the castle that Salvador Dalí gave to his wife Gala in the 1960s. Known today as the Gala Dalí Castle, it became her private retreat and later one of Dalí’s key creative spaces. The view shows the golden buildings with red roofs framed by a field of bright red poppies, with tall trees and the Pyrenees in the background. Oil, canvas. Signed. Varnished.
