La Rambla. Barcelona

La Rambla is a very famous street in central Barcelona. It is a tree-lined pedestrian street that connects Plaça de Catalunya with the Christopher Columbus Monument at Port Vell. La Rambla forms the boundary between the neighbourhoods of the Barri Gòtic to the east and El Raval to the west. The Spanish poet Federico García Lorca once said that La Rambla was «the only street in the world which I wish would never end». The painting is created in the author's own style: bright colours, a lot of different tones and a positive message. Oil on canvas. Varnished and signed.
