About Natalia Shchipakina

1Exhibition

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques, oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by famous artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan and Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

About this artwork

Monte Carlo is a district of Monaco, a small sovereign city-state located on the French Riviera in Western Europe. Monte Carlo is one of its most famous neighbourhoods: stunning coastal location, picturesque landscapes, well-planned architecture, iconic landmarks, well-maintained gardens, luxury yachts, lively streets, cleanliness and exclusive lifestyle. This painting is my vision of Monte Carlo. I used a lot of bright, positive colours and my special art style. Oil, canvas. Signed. Varnished.
