About Natalia Shchipakina

1Exhibition

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques, oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by famous artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan and Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

About this artwork

Playa de Las Catedrales is the name given by the tourism industry to the Aguas Santas beach, located in the Ribadeo municipality (Galicia). Its name is derived from its cliff formations. It has been declared a Natural Monument by the government. This picture is made in my own colourful style.
