This painting was inspired by the bright summer poppies growing against the backdrop of the Pyrenees. The aim was to capture the simple feeling of a sunny day, when red flowers fill the foreground while the mountains remain calm and cool in the distance. Rich reds, fresh greens, and turquoise tones create a lively and warm atmosphere.
