About Natalia Shchipakina

1Exhibition

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques, oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by famous artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan and Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

About this artwork

A full bouquet of bright red poppies fills a simple blue glass vase, set against a textured background. The idea is the contrast between the vivid flowers and the deep, quieter tones around them. Small touches of blue, white, and pink flowers add variety to the arrangement, while loose brushstrokes keep the composition fresh and lively. Oil on canvas. Signed. Varnished.
