About Natalia Shchipakina

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

Mountain Matterhorn is a renowned natural landmark. It is a symbol of the Alps and the whole European region (Italy and Switzerland).In the painting I have depicted this majestic mountain in my own colorful style. This is the third version of Matterhorn: this time I used a small canvas on a panel and added some purplelish mood. Oil. Signed. Varnished.
