About Natalia Shchipakina

1Exhibition

Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques, oil painting is my favourite.

Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by famous artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan and Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso.

About this artwork

Oil painting, canvas on a stretcher. Varnished.

Evening Tokyo is filled with people. I have never been to Tokyo, but I hope that someday I will still see it live. But in the meantime, with the help of my fantasies and photographs, this picture was created.
