Original surrealistic oil painting.
No idea where it came from... but now I have started to think about it, trying to understand how it happened. Well, it must be some kind of self-portrait. Two of these girls look like me - red lips, green eyes, black hair. Several days ago I saw something my old friend published on Facebook, and I was thinking about the times we used to go out for a glass of mojito. Next — swimming duck. Last month my daughter brought home one and now I have it standing on my sink in the bathroom. Red beads and flowers on the head - it must be Ukrainian traditional things, just transformed a bit, and a traffic light. It's for sure about my crazy neighbour here in Limburg. He is actually quite a nice person, but he has an antique shop around the corner and I adore old things, and he has this amazing East German traffic light with puppets inside. It's my old dream. The price was rather high for me, but I was ready to buy this traffic light immediately because it was in good condition and I always wanted exactly this thing. But when I said I wanted to pay, this guy just said, "Not for sale." How? Why? It has the price on it, so since September I have been watching this amazing traffic light in his shop, with the same price on it, but he doesn't want to sell... Probably this story also influenced me while painting this small pic, so — it's a nice tiny picture, ready to hang. I also painted the edges nicely because they are rather wide. Honestly, I like it myself because it's cool even without this weird description. Sorry :)
