"Evgeniya Zolotareva is a CZ-based fine art artist, specializing in abstract art. She finished art school and earned an MgA. of Arts degree at the university in 2006. Her artwork should have the opportunity to "speak for itself" and does not need a decorative frame, but free space. She tends to create a dynamic abstraction which gravitates towards. The shapes of her paintings are often in tension and trembling, they need to expand further. Her paintings are focused on emotions and intuition, understanding shapes and colours, which are shown throughout the creative process. She sees every project as a unique exploration of curiosity and experimentation".

About this artwork

Original painting on stretched canvas named "Confidence in uncertainty".

Dimensions: 120cm x 90cm.

Artwork has been painted by hand on the high-quality cotton canvas, delivered stretched on the wooden frame; sides are painted black.
Colours: Black, Blue, Beige, Pink, Grey, Ochre, light blue.

The painting is signed on the front and back. The work is shipped on stretched canvas. The artwork is perfect for neutral and light-coloured contemporary interiors.

When painting this artwork, I was accompanied by uncertainty about whether I was moving in the right direction and whether the painting was developing as I would like. The painting was born out of these doubts and, surprisingly, I feel confident about it. Some interesting forms turned out, contrasting with each other by mass and colour. The combination of vivid blue colour and black claim to be in the right place. There is one more aspect of uncertainty – this painting can be oriented either horizontally or vertically.

The painting is protected by a professional varnish to preserve the surface and keep the colours bright.
