The Old Windmill in the Mountains

I imagined a small village somewhere near the border of France and Spain, with red roofs and quiet streets. In the centre stands an old windmill. When its blades begin to turn, it feels like the mountain wind — the tramontana — comes to life and moves through the valley. This work is inspired by the energy and movement of Vincent van Gogh, especially in the sky, where the wind seems almost visible. Oil, canvas. Signed. Varnished.
