This is a one-of-a-kind ceramics art object. Formed as a vessel, it can be functional and used as a vase. Apart from its functionality, this art piece is perfect decoration for any modern interior. The artwork has an irregular shape and is asymmetrical both in construction and in colouring.
This unique sculpted piece is part of a series named ROADS NEVER TAKEN.It depicts the moments in life when we hesitate about our actions. The longer we hesitate, the less chance there is of making a decision to take a step. And here is exactly the point when we are lost. Lost in hesitations and doubts with no chance of even knowing what the result of our action will be. Either we reach our goals, or we fail and learn. In both cases we end up richer; we know better, we know more. We have lived each moment.
This sculptural utility object is a vivid representative of wabi-sabi zen philosophy incorporated into home décor – an artwork that is distinct for its raw finish and a voice telling about the process of making. Because nothing lasts! Because nothing is forever. Understanding impermanence frees us from greed and anger. Nobody and nothing are perfect. It is enough to bring out the own voice of things, for they become real. Real and not perfect! The imperfect is what speaks louder. Imperfection is how we all are and where our true value lies.
