I love the emotion in this pose and have tried to simplify it down to its very essence - less is more.

I have tried to play down the unimportant parts bringing focus to the pose and expression of effort with minimal detail.

The eye is drawn to the upper body, angle of the head and hands. The brain - having been given just enough clues - fills in the rest. An example of 'less is more'.
