About this Artwork

In this painting I have spent the last few months going through loss giving a lot of time to feelings and the journey we all on. I have used the paint to build layers of the time and each successive layer adds to the story. This is a self portrait of evaluation and discovery. Do you see the artists hand drawing in the top right? The artist contemplating in the centre and then being lost in a crowd. There are many people in this painting ... friends and ghosts. This painting signifies new beginnings ... who knows if I will continue down the abstract path but I'm really pleased with this one.
