About this artwork

"A New Wave" is an expressive abstract seascape oil painting, 60 cm x 80 cm (24 x 31.5 inches), on a 4 cm (1.5-inch) deep canvas.

Inspired by watching the waves on the sea in Hastings. It's titled after 'My Chair' by Martha Tilston.

It's painted in shades of blue and green with white. The paint is layered, blended and heavily textured in parts.

The painting continues around the sides of the canvas and it is signed on the back. It is ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
