About the Product
Limited Signature Edition.
A rare and evocative fine art print of martial arts legend, Bruce Lee, demonstrating Pak Sai with Juk Tek with his most senior student.
This beautiful, premium quality, black & white print measures 71 x 75cm (28 x 29.5in) and has been meticulously reproduced on Hahnemühle Photorag 308gsm fine art stock by a leading certified Hahnemühle studio in London, England.
The original photographs on which these fine art prints are based were taken in 1963 in Seattle, Washington, for Bruce Lee’s first book project, ‘Chinese Gung Fu’. They showcase Bruce Lee demonstrating forms from Wing Chun - the foundational art of his then evolving fighting style, Jun Fan Gung Fu. His opponent, Taky Kimura, was Bruce Lee’s best friend and original senior student. Sifu Taky practices and teaches Jun Fan Gung Fu at the ‘Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute of Seattle’ to this day. He continues to keep Bruce Lee’s legacy alive and has been an inspiration to innumerable fans and martial artists across the world.
Each of these beautiful and exclusive limited edition prints has been embossed, numbered and then personally signed by Sifu Taky Kimura at his home in January 2017. This item comes with its own certificate of authenticity and will be registered on Hahnemühle’s Fine Art Registry using a unique certificate and hologram regime to ensure exclusivity and autenticity.
